When I did the first photo-editing of this image, I never imagined it would not be the last. Although at that time had been satisfied with the achievements, as I gained knowledge, I find details that could improve and so I did. This is the fourth version of my photo-editing for this image.
This is a very interesting and slightly emotional image. I really love the models expression. It makes you contemplate is she at peace or on the verge of being sad? Those pose is overall a fairly strong one. There are little things about it that could have been different but then I think you'd loose the wonder of the model.
As to editing. The natual lighting onto the subject is very nice. Not a lot of harsh light and what there is gives a bit of a back lighting style. The high contrast gives areas void and brightness. Rather refreshing to see someting different. Althought areas of the concentrated contrast and darkness ratio (station overhand and left side of the image) could have been a bit more relaxed. When you look at the larger version you can see the blur lines and background editing. Where I'm guessing you removed the train is another problem area. There are several noticed spots in this area that try and take your eye away from the subject.
OVerall this is a wonderful image and edit in regards to the foreground. A little more on the background (or not so heavily) and you'd nail the image.
